While the developers get excited about containers and Docker, and want to use these technologies to develop new applications, the operations/infrastructure teams are often left wondering: “what is this all about and how will it impact my infrastructure?”
In the SIG Next-Generation Infrastructure event we’ll talk about the basics of Docker and Linux containers, what they are, why they matter and how they’ll impact data center infrastructure.

In the associated half-day workshop we’ll go into more details and discuss Linux namespaces, Docker networking models, and network security aspects.
